Bionic Gloves Are Terrible
Golf'nBiker replied to robert5050's topic in Balls, Carts/Bags, Apparel, Gear, Etc.
I'm a lil surprised to hear this. I've been unsing these gloves (w/the black inset) for 2 yrs now and the only ptoblem I have had was a slight tear from a thumb nail that I hadnt kept trimmed. And at $40??? thos I think i might go to something else. I haven't paid over $25 for the 3 I have purchased. (got a new one in the bag) -
thats the ONLY glove I've worn for the past 2 years...meaning 2 gloves! i had to get a new one b'cause my thumb nail got a lil too long and cut the glove. not saying that it still didnt work, but I'm just that kinda guy! I;'ve played 102 rounds last year...same glove! Altho they are not PGA authorized...oh well! very durable and a good feel on the club as well. If you're disappointed w/it, send it to me and I'll reimburse you 80%, if we're the same size.

Loving the 2.0 Taylormade Irons!!!
Golf'nBiker replied to plasma327's topic in Clubs, Grips, Shafts, Fitting
Brian, ya hit the nail! My brother, a teaching pro was trying to get me to look/demo the 2.o's the diff to cut it short, between my ping G10 are... PW is 46*, the 2.0 PW is 45. meaning a 4i TM 2.0 is equal to my Ping 3i. -
Sounds logical, but my 3 W is quite suspicious. there will be time I will strike it like I knew what I was doing and and get 230-250..then, a push, pull ot just plain FAT..perhaps 100 yds. not knowing what the outcome is a pain, but also a challange just the same. Am working to perfect it, but right now its anyones guess what the result will be, but not enough to throw it in the creek.....yet!!!

Every Military course on Oahu, - Redstone, Houston, - Abacoa, W. Palm, FLA, - many public courses throughout Alabama. PGA National was so packed it was difficult to find a parking place to venture into the pro shop. Played a couple public courses in W/Palm, but not very 'mentionalable' as well as plenty in Houston. Looking to hit the Rbrt. Trent Jones trail this year as I'm feeling a bit better about my game.

Got mine in the mail today...thought I discovered 'something', however a lil SEARCH...here we are. Will give it a go at the range tomorrow, gotta admit just swinging in the garage has me quite intriged. If I can keep the elbow from flying, this might be a good tool.

While visiting Ireland, a 'cider' which was popular was called Bulmers. The export version is 'MAGNERS'. Poured and looked like a beer, but a cider none the less.

Johnny BLUE!! Excellant taste in Scotch!! I too enjoy Scotch and Irish whiskies. But on topic, not much of a wine drinker in the past..I have attended a wine tasting event once w/an open mind and came away w/not much of a different perspective. I then tried some Port, and paired w/a fine cigar, it did the trick. One can spend as much on Port as a putter, but siting before the fireplace, FONSECA bin #27 or PORTO Rocha Vintage 2000 is pretty good and not expensive. If that dosen't work for you, stick w/the stuff that works.

I think it would be very hard to tell, especially as the media is so far stretched these days thru twitter, internet..etc. However, think Nancy Lopez, she has a famous husband and once upon a time she was a household name, Annika??...fast foward to today. Michelle Wie...she's not married but if she were living 2 lives, the news would be all over the place...especially now! I dont kno/think that the LPGA news would hold longer headlines than 9/11, but I do think the media profits on all negative situations regarding well known folk.

I wasn't aware of this. But hypothetically speaking, how much golf would you watch/enjoy if say 80% of those who are aired off the tee box, fairway, or the green slung clubs, cussed etc. I kno it happens more that its shown, but I'm talking almost eveyone...these guys expect to make perfect shots every time, its what they do for a living, but would you really watch it on TV or attend a live event? "Oooo, Phil blocked that way right...holy cow he threw his driver further than his ball...lets check in on Stricker, WOW, he missed that 4' putt...oops, his caddy now has a Scotty sticking from his eyesocket. Maybe we should see how VJ is doing..."

I said I dont watch if/when he's on or in the tourny. I generally watch the final round if I do watch PGA golf, cept if Eldrik is playing. I enjoy the LPGA and the Championship tours...aint no Tiger!

Thats 2 hrs of my life I'll never get back. After watching Kevin, I'm determined to never talk to another shot I make! poor bast**d had little confidence, but for some reason I did like to watch him and his humor was good. For those nay sayers of PEREZ's antics of club slamming, throwing, cussing...humm, I seem to remember a 1000 post thread of a certain cele-BRATY doing this same thing, and many werent bothered by it at all. I do hope that big bro puts a boot in his arse regarding this.

Agreed w/Zeph. When things start working themselves out, you'll be shocked to see the distances you can reach w/a club!

WRONG!!! If that schmuck IS playing, I don't watch!

That would be me...I hope the a**hole stays away the entire year. I enjoyed watching when he was away 'rehab'n'! -
Relax kid, its only just begun. You'll 'reflect' forever. The best way, IMO, to make your reflection a great experience is to make wise, smart, and productive decisions now. So when you find yourself looking back there will be no or not many regrets. When a not so wise decision occurs, learn from it and dont beat yourself up about it. Your fun experiences in life, as your X-Mas analogy, can make others in your future a memorable one for them. "Ah remember the good ol days"? Thats phrase isnt meant as a downer! G'Luck and Merry Christmas.

For me, most of the blues or blows are a single malfunction in my swing. ie...wrist cupped at the top of the swing...once I discover what that problem is, I concentrate to eliminate this...recently my shoulder turn isn't complete as the temps are considerably lower, I'm feeling stiff. I now almost take a 2 part back swing to get to the top to ensure my lead shoulder is under my chin. Eventually the problem will leave thru repetition...hope this helps.

Do you think "mad" Earl Woods might have been part of the problem?
Golf'nBiker replied to Shorty's topic in Tour Talk
In talking to Earl Woods, Smith got quotes in which the father insisted that his son had been sent by God and that he would be the most important human ever – not the most important golfer or the most important athlete, but the most important human. “Tiger will do more than any other man in history to change the course of humanity,” Earl Woods said. When Smith asked Earl Woods if he honestly thought his son – a golfer – would have more impact than Nelson Mandela, more than Gandhi, more than the Buddha, Earl Woods didn’t blink. “Yes, because he has a larger forum than any of them. Because he’s playing a sport that’s international. Because he’s qualified through his ethnicity to achieve miracles. . . . There is no limit because he has the guidance. I don’t know exactly what form this will take, but he is the Chosen One. He’ll have the power to impact nations. Not people. Nations. The world is just getting a taste of his power. Seems Earl was right on!! -

POONTANG-1 Mankind-ZERO! All this 'poor tiger' crap is just that. The power of the...well, its there for the taking and he took it. his bad..now the schmuck has to deal with it. However, has anyone even thought of the ol lady and/or the children. their lives are pretty screwed up right about now as well, altho the kids don't kno it yet. IF and that's a big IF...Elin takes the kids and goes, whats next? think about that for a moment...who in their right mind would marry her now..lest some no self regarding slob who would be content living off TW's $$ AND CHILD SUPPORT/ALIMONY/PRENUP. How difficult would it be to be a step-dad to these children? I dont really think she'll leave him tho. His ass should be embarrassed and he got caught..mans biggest regret! Earl is rolling over in his grave. -
Yessir, very true, many nice courses. However, many folks who have played in G'berg have been to this muni and now, YENNER can participate in the golf stories.

He wouldnt allow me to drive him to the hosp. cuz..."You'll probably wreck and kill me"!!!
