I'm extremely disappointed, I mean this weeks tourney starts on the Golf Channel from 12:30-6pm Thursday/Friday? Seriously AT&T; must have shelled out some big bucks for this. But it's weird that they couldn't just show more players, I hate when a tourney's on and 75% of the coverage is of the last group on each day. At the Shell Houston open it felt like that they showed a bit of everyone even thought it was basically match play on Sunday, but the Masters was a throwup of who was to win until the middle of the back nine on Sunday.

For me it's because it a challenge, there is no two shots that are the same. So everytime you have to adapt. I play baseball, Industrial and church softball, played football and it still amazes me that I could hit 28 home runs my senior year, but still can't hit a consistent drive!

Looking goods half the part I always say. You could go out there are shoot a 68 wearing jeans and a undershirt, but if you present you self well (i.e. slacks, anycolor and a polo or sweater) then people will remember you in a positive way. Anyways lately since it's come into spring in Central VA I've bought a couple off color chinos (light yellow, light blue and white) and some sorts (light blue, and a darker red). They all look nice not flamboyant. But I usually wear Black or Grey Slacks and a polo, so I'm stepping out of the usually box at my club. But I'm only 19 so it's not too outside the box.

I would say Myrtle or possibly Charleston, SC great city and some pretty amazing golf aswell!

I voted for Course Management but it's a tie between that and putting. Lately I've totally lost all touch on the green.

Kinloch Golf Club not my home course, but my favorite course. I love it just wish I had $150k to join! My best friends dad is a member so we play out there every once in a while.

To me a brand, in golf as in most is quality of their product, but more about their technology. Not newest but best technology, such as a Pro Platinum putter to me is the best out there, or to me Vokey's are the best wedges. To me these two feel the best in my hands.

Hey guys, it been a while I know slow winter for me. I actually just played 9 earlier today. Anyways I'm looking to get more/new shoes this year and I haven't talked to my Titleist rep yet, but I was wondering if you guys knew when they were going to come out with some new shoes in 2007?

When he first started winning big the Tour started to use him, like many before him, to boost there publicity and ratings ("Tiger Woods is scheduled to appear, will he take down the rest of the field"). He attempted to sue the Tour for using his image! I'm not sure if he pushed it or his agent was pushing the buttons, but it was a sore subject. But now after years he's become maybe the number one (not the only) reason the Tour has become what it is now. His ability to make the fourth round comebacks, like this past weekend at the Buick makes their ratings skyrocket. Also his attitude towards life boosts the appeal of the Tour, so now I believe he has helped like no one else can.

Dress/Image requirement query for attending PGA Tour events???...
Jarno replied to BenHoganForever's topic in Tour Talk
We run a Nationwide tourney every year at my club, I asked my boss (head pro) if we saw someone in jeans or anything that was against "club policy" ? He said no because it's a public event. And I believe thats for every event, not just ours because the PGA rep was in the meeting as well, and said that wouldn't be the best representation of the tour to be kicking people out. -
One of the funniest commercials I've seen in months! I love it, it shows that he does have a lighter side than his usual, professional perfect self!

Just traded in my xbox and ps2, with some games to get Woods 07 and the new Splinter Cell! Definitely looking forward to play Tiger the most!

I played at our sister club after the Nationwide came there, Henrico County Open, and the rough was literally anywhere from 4-6 and brutally thick! I shoot usually on a great day 83-85, but I didn't break 90. It was extremely hard for average golfer, for weeks after the tourney. On another note, one of our members snapped a tendon in his left wrist hitting (or attempting to hit) a 5-iron out of the rough on a par 5.

I recently played in one for the Ronald Mcdonald House, I paid nothing considering it cost $750 per team (that was the minimum). We got $75 gift cards to Callaway, sleeves of Pro V1x's and a ton of stuff, as well as a great dinner. And just today we had one where our whole No.7 was sponsored by Jack Daniel's! It was a great time. Even though it was the slowest whole on the course. It was a outing for a small local sports bar. So what's your craziest or most fun outing you've played in?

When your signed, either staffed or sponsored you sign saying you will wear professional clothing (slacks) when you play on a tour event or any other event you play where you promote their product.

I watched some of that, and then the next day I watched him on Ellen in the Pro Shop. He was definitely more talkative on Jay I think. He hit some balls on Ellen, but actually connected (on a very small level) with Jay maybe because he was a guy?

I love this series, the first golf/sports series I've followed on two systems and that I've actually been enthralled in. The number one thing I like the most is the way and where the ball lands. It doesn't go perfectly straight everytime. EA has created a randomly imporvised matrix on the balls landing surface which picks where the ball will land, so it will land in a area not huge but respectable. Makes the game hopefully a little harder! I hate how I could blow past the competition even on tour difficulty. I can't wait to see this one!

Adam Scott, Davis Love III (I'm a big Ralph Lauren fan!), Retief, Ernie. And always Payne Stewart, classy and old-fashioned! I think Sergio, Poulter and Camilo need to stay away from those vibrant crazy colors. Personally I think that doesn't need to be on the course, that is just a distraction. I know it's a European thing but come on, that's not classy.

Their following the same technology of the Sumo Squared, Nike's version of the box Sasquatch.

Right I understand about the type of player these are for. I love them a lot, I was hoping to work my way up to them but it's just hurting my game some. I'll get you some pictures tonight.

Alright, I'm trying to decide between the 695.cbs and the 735.cms. I've been looking at 735.cm's for a couple of weeks now, but after reading a dozen or so reviews on them I'm put them up there aswell. I have Taylormade MB's right now but I can't strike them well at all. I've been to the range a lot in the past weeks to try and get my long irons worked out. I just don't feel confident standing over them at address. But for the 695.cb's I've heard nothing but good reviews and feedback from my members and pro's a like. I haven't hit them yet, or the 735.cm's either, but I'm hoping on a day off I can get out to the range and try them out. What do you guys think? BTW: The Taylormade's are for sale PM or Email me if interested. I have to wait a couple more days until I can post in the For Sale section. Thanks everyone.

If it do it will be either early in the movie, or early evening when the sun is right above the trees. I wear Oakely Half Jacket XLJ, frame is Carbon Fibre with their darkest lenses.

Most courses will have some sort of stake in the fairway or on the sides of the fairways that marks 150yrds or so. Also they may have placks in the fairways, and/or on the cartpath. At our course, we changed our sprinkler heads with yardages for front/middle/back of the greens. Hope this helps!

I totally forgot about shoes, my collection of beauties. 2 pairs Adidas 360's Hardly were the Augusta's more of a collectors thing. Pair of Adidas Tour Metal Brown, about to get either a pair in black. and a pair of Adidas Z-Traxion 3-stripe (Practice shoes)

I actually posted this is another thread, but a kid on the Nationwide tour hits a Hi-Bore off the deck. Hits it pretty well, I think we walked it off at 270ish.
