  1. Whatever. In that case just remove my post and enjoy, the bad TV show IMHO, when it airs.
  2. I've seen the previews and those are typically the best part of a TV show or a movie. If the previews, and I believe they are, are any indication of the show then the show is terrible.
  3. Interesting. I wouldn't have thought that was Cajun. It didn't sound anything like accents I remember from when I was at Ft Polk and it doesn't sound anything like my Cajun neighbor.
  4. So, NBC is returning with a remake of Night Court? The original wasn’t that funny, and I would expect this version will be worse. Triple bogey.
  5. I watched The Glass Onion and I thought it was good. Although Daniel Crag’s attempt at a southern accent got a little old. I’d still give it a birdie.

    Congrats!
  7. My job was hands-on. I did have a chance to work a sideline hands-on job that would have been in direct competition with my employer and had I been caught I would have been fired and I wasn’t willing to take the risk. I had foot surgery and worked remote for a few weeks with an opportunity to go full time, but I didn’t like the anchor to the desk and monitor. The calls for that job were dispatched into a queue for each person and working another full time job in the same time frame would have been virtually impossible.
  8. I voted yes. I usually wear Crocs in the house and when I change I change in the bedroom closet. I have a work shop out back and I will wear shoes in the house when I come inside from there unless it's muddy or the ground is wet, if it is I just take my shoes off on the patio by the backdoor.
  9. In ’72 I was stationed in Germany, and I was jumping out of airplanes for the US Army. TV was Armed Forces Network and we watched what was shown, there wasn’t a choice and fortunately at that time of year it was football. A sergeant in my platoon would have people to his house for the weekend football games. I was lucky enough to see the game and see the play when it happened, well on taped delay anyway. R.I.P Franco. 72 years old is far too young.
  10. Exactly. Freedom of speech applies to the government not a company.
  11. I usually tip the server in cash and it's usually 20% or a little more. Although, not long ago I left a guy $2 on a $40 tab because the service was that bad and I did it to make a point.
  12. I’ve seen multiple AC failures that shutdown data centers. I worked for a company years ago, back in the day of buss and tag cables, and a pump that pumped sewage from the city up a hill to a processing plant failed and the sewage came out of the toilets of a building at the lowest point and flooded the hall, ran into the data center and went under the floor tiles and pooled in the data center floor. A hazmat crew had to be called in to remove the buss and tag cables and clean the first floor. I too find the Twitter thing hilarious. Looks like people are saluting and leaving in droves. That ultimatum didn’t work out well for Mr. Musk I didn’t take the Who Said It test because I don’t know who Mr. Burns is.
  13. I tried Twitter and didn’t like it. It was full of far too much debris I didn’t want to see, and I couldn’t figure a way to filter it out and I didn’t care enough to learn how, if it’s even possible to filter the junk. I do think it’s somewhat laughable Dorsey tweeted an apology to the laid off Twitter employees, from the back of the limo on his way to the bank.
  14. The screws look like someone tried to remove them with a smaller size Torx bit or used an allen bit and stripped them a little bit.
  15. I have a couple of Bison belts with the T-lock buckle and a couple of Maikun belts with the D-ring buckle. None are white.
