  1. So I've been having issues Since Saturday. Literally every button I press on Sand Trap takes 30-45 seconds to load and work. It's like having Dial Up again. I assumed that the Forum or site was updating and it would work itself out but it hasn't yet. Anything I can do? It's really frustrating and has kept me from reading and surfing since reading two or three threads would take me about ten minutes. And like I said it's only this site. I haven't any other problems with the net.
  2. Lesnar still has a lot of Pro Wrestling in him. He is a natural showman and plays up tp the crowd. He doesn't care if you love him or hate him as long as he gets a reaction from you. But there are two main things people generally don't realize about Brock. #1 he is a world class level wrestler. He is a 4 time NCAA National Champion and only lost 5 wrestling matches in college total. He knows how to control guys on the ground. Once he starts to learn holds and escapes he'll be unstoppable on the ground. #2 He really is just that big. This guy is freaking huge, thanks to his Pro Wrestling days. NO ONE in the UFC comes close to him in mass and pure strength. It's hard for guys to manuver and control his limbs for submissions, and for a lot of guys, his arms and legs are so big they simply can't get ahold of them. Look at Brock and Mirs second fight. Literally all Brock did was sit on Mir and hit him over and over on the ground, there was nothing Mir could do. If Brock is going to lose it's going to have be from striking. Brocks Chin is the one thing no one knows about, since he's never really been hit, which is why he takes everything to the ground so quickly were Brock has the advantage. An opponent is going to have to use Brocks aggressivness against him and catch him being careless.
  3. Here is what I was taught when it was time to add more power to shots. Frst you should not over swing on the back swing as it introduces all kinds of problems. I was taught to give more "help" to the downswing. An anology I was given was to imagine you were pushing someone in a swing. If you want them to go higher and faster you don't try to push them higher on the way up so they have farther to fall, you push them on the way down giving more energy to the natural momentum of their downswing. The same though and feeling should be given to the golfswing, particularly through impact.
  4. You simply can't go wrong buying any club from Nickent. Especially for the price...
  5. I think BOOOOOMM!!!!!!!!!
  6. It's tough to beat any of the clubs you already mentioned you were looking at, so it will really come down to which you like the best and what's the most comfortable. Personally I really like the look of the Callaway X series. But all the clubs you mentioned are really good high quality clubs...
  7. Any of the Callaway X series...
  8. 21* hybrid would be around a 3Iron. I carry both a 23* hybrid and 4 iron. Both are about 170-180 yards for me so they overlap. I use the 4 Iron for the Tee and the hybrid for the deck or rough.... If I were you I'd hang on to the 3W
  9. I tee pretty low. If I don't I'm always at the top of the clubface instead of the center. My drives are usually straight screamers without a lot of height. It is probably due to my square driver, but I'm rarely surprised off the tee.
  10. if you never hit it off the deck and only use ot for the tee why replace it? If your driver is unreliable just get a higher lofted driver and go straight into your 18*
  11. that's an awfully pretentious and assuming comment. It's pretty asinine to say that hybrids are made for just hackers. Particularly when you consider that if you don't have the "right swing" to hit a hybrid the you may not have that good of a swing afterall.
  12. I must be lucky. My gf has only been playing a month and has a 100 yard 8 iron and a 160 yard drive after carry. We Already play "who can get closer to the flag" at the range and "horse" on the putting green and she beats me just as often as I do. It's so much fun. I just can't get her Ass on the course yet. She keep saying she is not ready.
  13. The noodle+ easy distance is about $15 a dozen
  14. Dis you not want to try a gigagolf 54? I got an email a few weeks ago from gigagolf that said something about them introducing a new wedge design soon. They released a brand new original design driver this weekend
  15. that's really awesome!! You know how to copy and paste from a website!!
  16. It's not as striking in person. They are actually really sharp!!
  17. I'm no expert, but if you slow the swing down you can tell you are still coming off the ball on the back swing. You're doing a real good job with the right knee but it looks to me like your left knee is over flexing which is something I do worse than you. If you're trying to S&t;, the book says to tilt more to the left with your back on the backswing, so that your left knee doesn;t over flex. You're left knee is flexing so much it's causing your head to drop, which I think is making you flip and open your elbows so that your club doesn't crash into the ground behind the ball. That's why you kind of have a scoop look at impact.... I have all the same problems and I see them hours on end with my own swing, but mine are much more severe than yours, so take it for what it's worth....
  18. I don't know who this dude is, but I thought he had a real nice swing. I noticed a few things he was doing with the aspects I'm struggling with and I'm anxious to try it out...
  19. Rock Bottom is as legit as they come. One of the best Budget retailers on the Net...
  20. That's pretty funny. I dragged my GF to the range one day and actually convinced her to take a few swings. On her third try she belted a 7 iron 80 yards!! Since then she's gotten her some real cheap ladies irons and I've found a Jr Driver for her. She can drive 160 yards and has a 100 yard carry with her 8 iron now. I can't get her to actually play a round yet, but we have a blast at the range together..
  21. The Callaway X series has always turned out some really nice looking clubs
  22. I hook mine pretty bad too, and my 4 wood.
  23. 1) Overall, are you happy with the book? Very Happy, I've found it to be one of the clearest and easiest to understand instructional books around. If someone asked me what book I would suggest for someone just starting then I would give the the S&T; book. 2) Have you improved, if so, how much? Not really, but it doesn't have much to do with S&T.; I'm really just a beginner, but have been working and improving so hard so fast that I've hit my first wall. I broke 90 About a week and a half ago, and now I can't seem to even make contact with the ball. But it happens, and I'm not too worried about it. This is a good opportunity to break down certain aspects of my swing and rebuild them into something more solid. Like wrist action under Fault tree #1 3) What area did you see the greatest improvement - i.e. distance, accuracy, etc. Ball Flight. Since Implementing S&T; I have virtually eliminated all movement to the right from my ball path. I haven't sliced anything in weeks and even my driver seems to only move left (mostly) 4) How long from the time you started the program until you saw consistent play you were happy with and a swing you could trust and became natural? I've been doing it for about a month, but am not quite there yet. 5) Did you use any other methods of instruction while reading SnT? I took lessons (but only a short game lesson since reading S&T;) and I have read MANY other swing theory books, and the Rotella books...
  24. The Noodle is a GREAT ball. I can't say that enough. Wish more folks would give it a try, glad it worked out for you
