Your saying that Nascar changes the rules trying to help certain drivers win. Can you prove that, or is it just some grumbling you got from others? Nascar makes changes to keep a level playing field between manufacturers.......not drivers. The USGA has in the past made changes to golf courses to prevent certain players from having and edge, and I can prove that.

OK... I understend what you mean in theory. In fact I tend to agree.......but it is a very slight change at best. But I would not recommend bending the the MX-25's or the Rac OS2's to such a degree because by time these clubs are bent enough to minimize the offset, the dynamic balance of the clubhead will be totally changed, not to mention the built in bounce. These clubs are already strong lofted clubs and he might end up with a bag full of 1 irons.....per say.

Belichick has his rookie safeties and linebackers tuned in early. Sanchez will be the next Pennington fairly soon. NY could possibly pull it off if they pound the ball on the ground. New England gave up some defensive size for speed, and I think they are vulnerable against a good running team. 49'ers........... no chance in hell. Giants - Colts : Depends on the Giants getting enough pressure on Payton. If they pressure him....Giants win. Payton sucks when he gets happy feet. Texans - Skins: If the Texans offense/defense looks like it did last week, Skins loose. McChoke will throw 2-3 interceptions.

I hate nit picky, uptight, snobby, and politically correct golfers. Unfortunately...... this game is full of them. I'll take a late 9 holes on a local muni with a "work a day joe" wearing his work jeans, over most people I meet at some of the private and other high end courses.

I have used every lie in the book when I bought new equipment. It never worked, so I always go get what I want and seek forgiveness later. :)

I would fall asleep in 5 munutes watching golf without announcers. Who wants to watch some pro stand over his bag for 10 minutes deciding on what club to pull.

I would say so. The gap between most modern pitching wedges and a 56 degree sand wedge is too wide. Most amateurs would benefit from a gap wedge.

The Adam's tour hybrids are pretty good, but the A3 & A4 series setup too hooky for me.

The playoff is at a bad time of year for the tour and the associated TV networks. NCAA Football, NFL, and the Nascar chase are far more lucrative for networks in obtaining sponsors. Tiger or no Tiger........ the championship is a afterthought for most viewers. The 2 courses I hang out at have football on the TV this time of year and all eyes are glued to it.

I understand your point. But golf will find its own center again, and will continue to attract its share of people who just love the game........ instead of the hype.

Its a BS article. If golf loses fans because Tiger is not playing, then golf will be better off. That goes for TV and at the course on weekends. You watch or play the game just because of 1 guy and will go away if he's not playing......... cya.

The golf season is already too long for me. After the PGA is finished........ so am I. The Ryder Cup and Presidents Cup are the only exceptions. The tour championship to me is like watching a beauty pageant....... all glitz.

I have used them before. 100% satisfied.

There is still room in this game for a 2 iron for a person who can use it competently. I like the lower ball flight of a 2 iron over most hybrids. I hit a hybrid now days, but I miss being able to spank the 2 iron off the tee. ( sux getting older)

1 (68) and a handfull of 69's........ all on some fairly short courses.
