There have been many but one that is coming to mind was a few months ago at my home course. 400 ish par 4. Hook my second shot into the water, move up to about 80 yards and hole out for a 4. -

What was the average score when you play/ed? When I started out freshman year I was shooting around 48, sophomore 45, junior 42, this year more like 39 lol Was your coach overly bossy? Our coach is awesome! Doesn't "coach" much, but he's a great guy. What was practice like? All we did was play 9 holes pretty much every practice haha Did you enjoy it? YES

My first match freshman year sure had the nerves shaking, but since then they feel like just another round (with a bit higher stakes).

After looking at some of these pictures I'm concerned that it will be difficult to see a lot of the action. Any body who has been there this week, can you comment on this?

I use a standard baseball grip with a slight forward press with the ball played a little off my front (left) foot.

That's incredible, and to come during the club championship! Wow!

That's interesting how the actual club champion is based off a net score. I've never seen that before and it really doesn't make any sense - the champion should be straight up, no handicaps.

We play a game called poison where you start on one side of the tee box marker and hit your ball to the other. Once you hit it you have to hit the other tee marker and then you are free game to try and hit your opponents balls to knock them out. Probably didn't explain that well enough, but it's a fun game!

My goal was to shoot in the 70's ..well I accomplished that and then some. My low round so far was a 71 which is 1-under par! I've been playing/practicing every day basically since golf season ended in May, I figure it's pretty common to see good results if you play all the time.

I don't play much by myself since I have a brother who golfs, but when I do I really enjoy it.

It's always really hot in Kansas City so I've kind of just got used to it, but I play in the morning whenever possible.

I shot 79 today after shooting a 43 on the front. Even par from 10 on so I'm pretty happy :)
