  1. So I was checking out some of Sean Foley's instruction on the PGA site and saw this one. http://www.pgatour.com/video/r/instr...our/index.html Being left handed yet being a right sided swinger I think it's a pretty good way to learn how to keep a flat left wrist. The video paused at 7 secs is what I'm aiming for after impact.
  2. Insane how much his spine tilts left on the backswing. Nice vid.
  3. You got nothing to lose now, Go out guns blazing! Good luck
  4. Awesome cheers guys. Yeah, I've been working on the hinge and hold feel with punch shots and when it works the ball really goes. Implementing it on the full swing is much harder for some reason.
  5. You do that and I'll buy it in a second. I can imagine Golf Evo having drills in all areas for the swing, from beginner drills to advanced drills almost like a step by step guide on what to intially work on and naturally progessing as you improve. That would be frekking awesome.
  6. I had this problem. As someone already said you're simply swinging too hard with the lower irons. It feels right to swing harder because you have more distance to cover but you just got to remember to let the club do the work. It's either that or you haven't grooved a reliable swing yet.
  7. Can someone clarify what's the difference? I'm a fan of the hinge and hold method with chipping, etc and I was thinking what if I try it on a full swing? Is this basically the same as the flying wedge? like maintaining wrist cock throughout the downswing? (I find I instinctly release it before impact anyhow).
  8. Euro: Martin Kaymer and Luuuuuke! USA: Fowler and Tiger Aus: Jason Day :)
  9. I've heard that quite a bit. I had a knee reconstruction when I was 16 so that's a bit of a worry. I'll give it go and see what happens. Anyone think that guy Sean in the yoga and ab ripper vids is not human? The dude looks like some Super Sayan from Dragon Ball Z.
  10. Yeah you use those resistance bands or something... just look it up on google. Yeap I'm doing the P90X workout. The Yoga absolutely killed me. I've never sweated so much in my life. I love the Pylometrics workout, AB Ripper X is exactly like Horton said "You love it, but you hate it..:)" Though my biggest challenge so far is the diet. I'm really trying to eat healthy for the rest of the 90 days. Once I get P90X done I really want to start Insanity, I want to get my cardio above par.
  11. Any chance this is uploaded online?
  12. 1410 calories! I don't think that's enough mate, especially if you're walking 18 holes on a regular basis. I try to keep mine under 2000 calories, with those calories being 50% Protein, 30% carbs and 20% fats. My best advice for anyone would be to try to stay away from sugar and all grains (if not then "whites" at the very least), period! Do that and your hunger pangs will go away.
  13. Nike Ads always pump me up.
  14. Great post. I love to hear stories about Jerry Rice's sickening work ethic.
  15. Awesome. Gorgeous girl wearing red nike air max's = Easy's perfect woman. Looks like it could be Elin Nordegren back in the 80's.
  16. How about using Television or aimless internet surfing as the trade off instead of golf?

Absolutely. Wasn't being cynical just curious that's all. In Aus if you donate to charity you can claim over 50% of your donation as a tax write off.
  18. So you're gonna tell your kid to settle for mediocrity? Disagree with the bold part. If I bust my ass off to achieve whatever goal and fail then I'm comfortable with that. At least I gave it a crack. It would be impossible for anyone to be a pro golfer when you have motor neurone disease :P
  19. Talent vs practice arguments are always heated especially when it comes to golf. I think the general public underestimate the talent and skill required to make it in this game. Hardest game in the world imo, so many variables at play. Back to topic gotta agree with the OP. What gets to me is when you play with someone whom never practices, plays once a fortnight yet chucks a hissy fit when he doesn't break 45... Don't get that.

Especially from an LPGA player. Great stuff. I wonder if this can be used as a tax write off?
  21. A boring interview from Tiger! That comes as a surprise... Leave the gossip at TMZ.
  22. I have downloaded DVD 4 and it was painfully boring so solely on that I wouldn't bother. Just read the book and look on youtube. I've read the book a few times now. Every time I read it there's a section that just "clicks" and makes sense. This book is definately not something you read once and discard (maybe for real low handicap players). But as your game progresses certain parts of the book which you thought you understood just resonate even more.
  23. That part in bold is what had me stumped. I couldn't putt consistently at all. In the end I also took his basic concepts and tweaked them a bit. I use the grip he advocates but with slightly more pressure and his stance. But I'm more forearm than shoulder movement.
  24. Yeah Tiger is motivated by money. Close to a billion dollars isn't enough for this man! :P
  25. Never cause I don't have one. I'm thinking about getting this one Only question is should I get one more suitable for my handicap? This is apparently what the guys on tour would use...
