A bit of both really, I feel that when I play on my own, the same as you I tend to lose focus and start playing multiple shots and end up getting nothing out of it! If I am playing with people, especially a two ball, I much prefer it as there is friendly competition and you generally play fast. Obviously it's also good to talk to another person when your playing!

Yeah, They're measured from the top of grip to the ground and they usually come in 3 different sizes 33", 34" and 35"

I would reccomend vokeys, they offer more greenside spin and more control. They also come in a variety of lofts and bounces to suit everyone and their playing conditions. A matching set would be good, my recommendation for vokeys would be 48*,52*,56*

They are ok nothing special. I would definitely recommend vokeys but if your looking for something cheaper they are fine

I am not allowed to use them but they are very handy and I would recommend any golfer to get one.

For me definitely prov1 as it offers greater greenside spin while keeping distance off the tee -
I agree with grif 82, Try titleist AP2s or MBs

Personally I use either titleist prov1s or taylormade pentas. Taylormade tempas offer spin, control, distance and more accuracy. They are the worlds first five layer ball

They are good balls but for me its prov1s or taylormade penta -
I ocasionally use taylormade Penta balls. They offer greenside spin, longer distance off the tee and more control. For me these and titleist prov1s are the best in the game.

Personally I use prov1s as they spin more and I am fairly long off the tee anyway. It really depends on what you feel more comfortable with

For you I wouldn't think it would matter, just get the standard size vokeys unless you are extremley small/tall
