  1. Below 50 is really my limit due to the Oklahoma wind. However, when I lived in Michigan I played numerous rounds in the 30's and 40's.
  2. Glad you've keep your sense of humor about you
  3. I don't think I fully understand this. Wouldn't soft arms shorten during the downswing? I guess that's assuming he strengthened his arms during the downswing?
  4. HUH? I don't think he should think about any of that. Just sayin.
  5. Perhaps you meant to quote the above. And the entertainment continues.
  6. Right, so I am.
  7. How to qualify for the Nationwide Tour: become redonkulously good. The end.
  8. And....larger clubhead, so it's more difficult to square the club face. Bottom line is you likely have an over the top type of swing. Slices are almost always a tell tale sign of an OT swing.
  9. I got nothing. Nothing.
  10. I get why you would make a big stink out of this....I really do. There was nothing terrible said in the thread. But Eric has been here long enough to know where things lead to with us guys. I would think you could have the wherewithal to understand his reasons for closing the thread. You obviously think he's doing something right since you joined up. Take a second to view it from his seat.
  11. shhhh, NTG may be listening....
  12. Just noticed that you are from Coachella. That is probably my favorite place to visit for numerous reasons - golf one of them. I'm jealous.
  13. Bud, If you want to have to prove your over 18 before viewing the forum, then by all means let's start talking about anything and everything that we (mostly males) can think of. Truth is, this forum is about golf. Golf can be played and enjoyed by everyone without having worry about who's doing what with the cart girl. If you want the ST guys to continue putting out the great information, reviews, and the public forum that they do, then be appreciative that threads like that get closed. Thanks.
  14. Can pretty much guarantee you are coming over the top. The ideal swing path for a chip or pitch is slightly in to out, just like every other shot. Get to a practice green and work it out.
  15. Never gonna happen! No real golfer is going forget his clubs!
  16. First, the key word here is FRAUDULENTLY. No one is suggesting that the we would pocket a ball and sneak off the range with our loot. in fact, I have already said that I would have no problem telling the range owner/operator what I had found. Second, the idea of personal property is not applicable in this situation at all. The Penta was actually no one's property when the OP found it. (I think this is where you are confused) He found the Penta and understood that it was not a range ball, but actually a lost ball, and therefore it was available for him to keep as his own. To be frank, they do. Since, by your logic, the range may have actually stolen the ball or "taken it mistakenly", then perhaps the OP should have taken it upon himself to destroy the Penta, thus removing it from the twilight zone limbo of being passed amongst unscrupulous golfers, and furthermore, freeing the world of it's moral quandary. I know you have said that you are done commenting on the topic, but I really do wish you would reconsider.
  17. C'mon man, it's getting a little ridiculous to continue calling this theft. You never answered my questions: Have you ever picked up a lost ball on a course? You're rationale would suggest that this is theft when in fact it is not. Have you ever played more than the amount of golf that you actually paid for? It is just too much for me to stomach that you really consider picking up that Penta theft. I really don't believe that's what you think. I actually think that you just don't want to back down now.
  18. Oh yes, that is indeed taboo.
  19. I am whatever I say I am.
  20. It is certainly disadvantageous to be a short hitter. However, I think you may have touched on something even more concerning: It is indeed a curse placed on you by that guy from the Titleist NXT commercials.
  21. Don't provide commentary on every shot your playing partner hits. You don't need to tell me good shot just because I made contact. If it's really a good shot, then go ahead and mention it - if not then just hush.
  22. I assure you, if I wore a long sleeve shirt and long sleeve pants in the Oklahoma summer, I would be much too hot. I just can't bring myself to wear long sleeves in the heat even though some folks say it keeps you cooler. NOT GONNA DO IT
  23. Missing the drop zone is punishable by water boarding at my home course. Worse yet, hitting it in the water is good for ten lashings. I usually skip the par three's to be honest with you...
  24. C'mon man, get back out there. How bad can you be after only a month off? Everyone would benefit from hitting the gym and taking a lesson, but you don't have to do those things before you start playing again. I'd recommend going to the range and assesing your game. Work out whatever kinks you can on your own and then hit the course if you feel ready. I wouldn't worry to much about muscle atrophy unless you have quite literally spent the last month in bed.
  25. I'd love to be a scratch too, but it's taken me my whole life to get to the point I am now. I often wonder if I've maxed out my capability and will end up stuck at the point I am now. But there are always a few extra shots to shave off with a little extra practice. Just keep trying. You will eventually get there or you will reach a point where you are satisfied with where you are.
