This is my list. Did I miss any?
LI:
Hamlet Windwatch (Weekends, variable weekdays)
Pine Ridge GC (Weekends end of May)
Spring Lake (Not as good condition as above)
Hamlet Willow (Never been)
NJ:
Neshanic Valley GC (Good rate for balls, pay for short game area)
Charleston Springs
Heron Glen
High Bridge
North of NYC:
Centennial GC (Really expensive, but a great long and short game facility)
Links at Union Vale I think has this new simulated grass - never tried it.
And the Randall's Island grass section - last year was awful. Not worth the high price IMHO.

I missed two:

Staten Island Golf Practice Center - 718-317-0101, 9-9, $11 bucket, $14 surcharge, $175 mbrshp

The Brooklyn Golf Center - 718-253-6816, 8-9, $11 bucket, $10 surcharge

I wrote down the info so I have someplace to refer to. Maybe it'll help someone out.

Don't know how good the conditions are. I'll update this thread after I try these places.

Come on NY metro area folks, help me out, I'm walking here! (stupid Midnight Cowboy joke)

Brooklyn Golf Center http://campl.us/4yS Grass a little dodgy but way better than Randall's Island. Grass is open weather permitting, not just weekends. Looks like I'll be going here now instead of schlepping to Jersey.
