FOund a used 250-08 today and decided to give it a try. Wow, I love this darn thing! Can't wait to get it on the course. I'm hitting awesome soft shot in the yard. I am really suprised I am hitting it so well right away.
WHy don't they make the spin milled in lower lofts? I'd like to have a 52 spin spilled actually. Can a 54 be bent easy enough?

A lot of players arent looking for that type of spin from a gap wedge, at the max distance its just really hard to control that kind of spin

I'd also be curious to see how much a vokey could be bent... not entirely sure the range of a cast club

I thought the same thing when looking for a Titleist gap wedge. I went with the 250-08 and love it as well. Plenty of stopping power for me. You can bend a 54 2 degrees strong, but note the swingweight on the 54 sandwedge is D5 and not D3 if that is an issue to you. Most people wouldn't notice.

The sm's in general are not good for full swings as they put excessive spin on the ball. I'd imagine you'll be swing the 52* in a full swing... bending the sm might not be a good option.
