$50-$100. I paid $60 for my Footjoy Greenjoys. I couldnt justify spending $300 on a pair of golfshoes and Ive found my Greenjoys to be very comfortable.

Whats in my :sunmountain: C-130 cart bag?

Have 2 pair of Ecco's that both cost somewhere between 150-200. Most comfortable shoes you can get IMO.

Thankfully working in the golf business I get some good deals, so, I don't really spend all that much on shoes.

I have heard great things about Ecco's shoes, being worth the money.

I have a buddy who is a Titleist/FootJoy/Adam Scott junkie. He's got, I think, four pairs of FJ Classics ($250ish a pair). And he oogles over the catalog everytime he comes in the shop.

Mine were 55 dollars and they work great and are very comfortable. Adidas white/black beacon's. I don't know what else to expect out of a golf shoe? I think spending 50 dollars on golf shoes each year or two, depending on how much you play, is more worth it than buying shoes for 250 dollars.

Those are comfy. Golflocker.com has them in the blems for $89.00 for those interested. As for me, I have a couple of pairs of the Classic Drys and Classic Tours. Both are blems though so run around 175.

Even though I get some shoes for free from time to time, I still don't get the premium ones I want . Most I've ever spent was more than $250. I got me a pair of Footjoy Classics Tour. Up here in Canada, they're around $399 a pair. I've got no problem with the price since I got a few discounts. I got them for $350 so it was okay . However, I'm looking into buying another pair of those even for the costly $399 tag...

Callaway XTT CG.
Very comfortable shoe!
They were $120 at GG, but I used $30 off coupon. With the tax they came around $100.
I play around 20-25 rounds a year.
This is my second season with them and they are still in great shape.

    • Best drive I've ever hit: I will not be answering any questions about the rest of the hole. Or the round, for that matter.
    • I tried hybrids way back when TaylorMade introduced the copper orange Firesole Rescue, the clubhead having been made of titanium which was still relatively new even in drivers back then. I couldn't hit it well at all, and while the success of hybrids suggests that the modern ones must be quite good,  I'm perfectly happy with the 5, 7, and 9-woods.  Early ones of mine were Top Flite Intimidator 400s made by Spalding... and also made of titanium, now that I think of it.  I still have them in my basement. I do bag a driving iron, but it's a one-trick-pony that never sees fairway use.
    • The last time I played Maxfli balls, Dunlop was still making them. How long ago was that? Mostly, though, I used to play Top Flites (original 336 dimple model) when Spalding was still making them. Now I play the Pro V1x. Last time that I ordered some, Titleist was still making them. Let's see how long that lasts.
    • Once, on a course in Middleton, Massachusetts that I used to love but has since closed down,  I hit the wrong half of a huge, UK style double green.  Then I made the hundred foot putt.  Tough to  forget that one.
