Grip Question

Ok, I have a bit of a strange dilemma. How should I select grip size for my clubs? I have been noticing wear marks from loosing my grip at the top and after reviewing my grip form, I think my grips are the wrong size. With my left hand, either my fingers are too long, or the thumb pad is too large. With standard and midsize grips, my last three fingers pinch into my thumb pad. Jumbo grips feel rediculous, and even the midsize feels way too large in the right hand grip. Suggestions? I'll post a picture tonight (if I remember).

I just got new irons (wilson ci6s) and the grips are clearly too small. They are like a thin standard size. For the life of me I can't keep a hold on the clubs, even hitting balls off a tee.

I determined my proper grip size by placing my left hand on the club, and the fingertips when wrapped around the grip should just lightly be touching the outside of my thumb/pad (Abductor Pollicis Brevis muscle). With that being said, what you might try and do if you hands are a bit different is to buy a couple of VERY cheap grips, grip tape, solvent, and grip your club by yourself. When you do, maybe try a few extra wraps on the top half of the grip where your left hand holds the club (if you're right handed). so first, wrap it for the size you like it to be for you right hand, and then add a couple of wraps to the top half. might just work!
