@ every tournament the announcers also say "these closing holes are some of of the hardest on tour" or something to that affect. I've noticed they have been saying that every week lol

Look at the courses that have played in the last few weeks. Pebble Beach, Spyglass, Poppy Hills, Doral, Bayhill, Riviera and PGA National.

These courses are some of the hardest that they play all year. Prep for the Masters?

I rest my case.

it has kind of been true... not so much progressively harder, but Doral, Bay Hill, Riviera, and PGA National have some tough closing holes. Certainly at Augusta we'll be back to focusing on Amen Corner...

to be fair you do need to pull a special shot or 2 off to pick any shots up at 16, 17 or 18 at bay hill

By what I saw on TV, Innisbrook looked like a beast. So did the "bear trap"

"One of the reasons Arnie Palmer is playing so well is that, before each final round, his wife takes out his balls and kisses them. Oh my God, what have I just said."

16, 17, 18 aren't the easiest on sunday either

With a chance to win that kind of money my knees would be shaking at pitch and putt course.
