Adams Golf A3OS

Hi

I'm thinking of buying my own set. I have an existing iron set handed down from my dad. I was eyeing the Adams A3OS when I was at the local golf store. I was able to get some shots off but because it was a weekend, I didn't get to demo them that much.
I'm looking for a set that will give me maximum forgiveness. Spoke to the sales associate and he advised I get the A3OS as well. I also demoed the Cobra FP, Nike Slingshot, Adams A3.

I'm looking to spend 500 or less than that.
If anyone's tried the A3OS, feedback would be appreciated, along with any of the other clubs I tried.

I believe the Nike CCi are on sale and the Wilson Ci7

Re: Adams Golf A3OS

Do you really want maximum forgiveness or something that you can grow into?

Get the Mizunos MX950. They are forgiving, at the same time will be suitable for you for a long time. The only let down about them is that the 3 and 4 irons are not there, they're replaced by 3 and 4 hybrids.

I have the A2OS and love them. If your handicap is above 15, you need maximum forgiveness up to 9iron or so. As you improve, you can replace the short irons with forged clubs--- I replaced the 9i, PW, GW, SW with forged irons (all of them were purchased used for around $20 each)

A guy I play with actually has a set. He loves them, he just bought them a few weeks ago. I didnt try em (he's a lefty), but his ball striking is definately better. And he's a pretty good golfer.

i got these clubs last summer....i find the hybrids take alot of getting used to. i also find that the groves on the irons are unreal! it makes me wonder if they are even PGA legal. they just chew up my balls like crazy but they give me excellent spin when needed. i must say they are a great set for the price.

I am currently looking at the Adams A3OS hybrid.  Since it's an older club nobody has any to try out.  I did hit an Adams a7OS hybrid the other day.  Can any comment as to how the a3OS hybrid compares to the a7OS hybrid?  Are the heads about the same size?

Any real performance differences between the 2 clubs?
