Brutal stuff. Much more cardio-oriented than I'm used to. It's a great routine for a golfer as well. Since i'm in golf season for school now, i'm going to use this for the majority of the next few months.

Want to know what he does to benefit his physical fitness for golf and his strength?

I'm not gonna lie, that's a hard core work out. If you can jump straight into that, good luck, but expect to be sore for a few weeks.

I post my work out last season so it's somewhere on the forums. It's based along the same principles (shoulders, abs, and cardio) but it's also designed for the average person with limited time.

But Camillio is a superb athlete. The only person who's more athletic on tour is, well you all know who it is

the "average" golfer isn't going to benefit much from copying this exact workout. you have to be in very good shape to even begin to try these exercises, some of which could cause harm if you're not careful.

workouts are like golf swings, you have to do what's best for your strength/fitness level, and not try to do things that are outside of your comfort level.

Yeah, been working out for 9 months back and forth. It's a sick workout but I got through it (:

I do P90X and that is a great leg workout. Ever since starting it my balance is infinitely better. I used to fall over my left leg because of atrophy from a year long surgery rehab when I was a kid (I'm 23 now) and I am in near perfect balance everytime.

Thanks for that link. I have searched the net before trying to find info on
Camilo's workouts. I had already started adjusting my workouts this summer with more core work, lots of rotation movements, and also incorporating balance everywhere I can. I picked up a move or 2 in there to work with.

If a person could get the lower/upper body separation that he does, it would greatly benefit their golf swing. It's tough though. Plus he is several years younger than some of us

Camilo's Twitter posts this week have been on his cycling workouts. 4 hour rides? That's serious. I don't see anyone else on tour doing that.

followed the workout plan today per the video. It was intense, and I could feel my core muscles getting the workout that they have been needing. I am going to keep up a regimen like this...as I am getting older it isn't so much as being able to lift the most, but rather overall strength, endurance, and balance throughout the body that I am looking for. Being out in New England and away from the hood in Cali, surfing is few and far between. When I was surfing 2-3 times a week a few years ago, i wa sin the best shape I have ever been in...

Yeah but having to make the paddle out in the 5/4 with gloves and booties sure ups the workout intensity doesn't it

As for this workout, I would never try this without instruction from a trainer. I can just imagine myself getting hurt doing this. Camilo is a freak though, this is really impressive.

P90X is brutal. I went through the 90 day routine and I was in a lot better total body shape.

I was in good shape before I started but I was in much better shape after P90X. Great total body work out. I wouldn't expect to bulk up from P90X but if you're just looking to get in shape, it's great. I would recommend being in decent shape before starting though as it doesn't mess around from the start. The first day it gets going and is brutal.

    • Most the stuff I found on Instagram and just copy and mix it up. a few of my favorites: Clean>Squat>Press> March Around the body >catch >Squat> press I also hold a the kettle bell upside down with both hands on the handle. Squat when I stand back up I lift the kettlebell up over and behind my head and hold then repeat
    • Not sure this is the best thread but, if the rain holds off, today is my 1st round of the year.  Getting ready I can not find my Shot Scope.  I guess I put it away too well for the winter and thus that is may "Winter Depression".  I'm sure I put it somewhere that made sense at the time.
