I have some very fine scratches on my driver head. I don't notice them when addressing the ball, but knowing they're there bothers the hell outta me. Would Turtle Wax or something of the like fill in the scratches?

Don't know how it will react on your clubs but I tried some turtle wax on my old three and five wood (Taylor Made V-Steel) and it ended up just leaving them with a hazy look. That same look you get when you apply the wax and never buff it out; that's what I was left with. Won't ever do that again.

Turtle wax is crap. I am into car detailing and I would recommend using Meguiar's NXT 2.0 as a great over-the-counter wax on your club head. Works great on your car too!

If the scratches are fine you could a good metel polish and hand buff them out.

I second Meguiar's. I used the spray on detailing to shine up the head. I've read that a little bit of toothpaste rubbed over the scratch will take out fine scratches to, but it can dull the paint some since it's a fine abbrasive. Also have read "scratch out" sold at Autozone, etc works, never tried it.

I thought the scratches were on the face in my first post. I second "scratch out" as a good fix. Again if the scratches are fine you can lightly hand buff them out with that stuff. No tooth paste, it has to much abrasive and will leave fine swirles in the paint.

Meguiar's makes scratch products that I use on my car, as well. Here they are in least to most aggressive:

PlastX
Swirl X
Scratch X
Scratch X 2.0
Ultimate Rubbing Compound

I own them all. lol
