I've always battled with keeping my rain pants (also great for cold weather) in my golf bag. Even folded they're pretty bulky so I'd take them out. Then of course when it does rain while you're playing, you forget to put them back in your bag.

I came up with this idea the other day. My wife has one of those small vacuum seal machines for use on food bags. You basically take a 1 gallon bag that has a vacuum port on it and use the machine to suck out all the air. Great for storing food for long periods.

So I took my pants and stuff them into a bag. I think used the vacuum machine and it shrunk it down to about the size of an inch. Worked really well. Now the pants fit nicely into my golf bag. If I ever need them I just unzip the bag. Works great!

Mid way throuhg your post I was going to suggest that. They work great at minimizing the amount of space needed for something. I keep an extra pair of socks, shirt, and FootJoy short sleve rain wind breaker in my bag.

Thats a pretty good idea, I personally always keep my pants and extra rain gear in the trunk of my car and only pull them out when rain is in the forcast but i tip my hat to you for thinking outside the box

Who needs rain gear. Can't get any more wet that soaking. I say get some rain gloves and have at it.

My swing thoughts:

- Negative thinking hurts more than negative swinging.
- I let my swing balance me.
- Full extension back and through to the target. - I swing under not around my body. - My club must not twist in my swing. - Keep a soft left knee

That may work in Texas but I promise you, 50* and playing the rain in Michigan sucks!!!!! I'll do anything I can to stay dry.

In SoCal, when there is rain coming NEXT WEEK it's all over the news so we have plenty of time to prepare. In TX, that rain randomly come down in the middle of summer and it's still HOT out. lol

Yea, just keep a towel and a change of clothes in your car. Should be good to go.
