I'm not much of a reality tv fan but, Deadliest Catch has to be one of the better shows out there. These are some of the toughest SOB's around.

Capt. Phil was one of very few famous people that I would like to have met...My thoughts and prayers go out to his family.

Haven't watched the last season but the other ones I watched pretty regularly. Capt. Phil and Sig were my favs. They ran the sh&t; out of those boats and really worked the crew but it paid off. He will be missed. Thoughts and prayers are with his family and friends.

I read this in my local paper this morning. It is sad because he was a good guy and made the show very entertaining. The only bad thing I have to say is the guy smoked like a chimney so this was likely going to be the outcome.

yeah... it didn't look good for him last season, and the way he smoked and worked his body I'm not too suprised. I'm sure it will be tough on his family and my prayers are with them.

I love Deadliest Catch and hearing of the passing of Captain Phil really saddened me. He was one of my favorites and will be missed by many. My thoughts and prayers are with his family, friends, and crew.
