Looking for a new Travel Cover

I'm looking to buy a new travel cover. I think I prefer a soft cover, and have been looking at the OGIO Straight jacket. Can anyone share their experience with the straight jacket or maybe recommend another travel cover?

Thanks

Re: Looking for a new Travel Cover

I bought mine this winter at half price from TGW, last years model, used it once Minnesota to Pheonix and back. Worked great, well made, plenty of room for extras, wheels easily protected my clubs just fine with addition of a PVC pipe (and bubble wrap around clubheads) to protect driver shaft. My clubs, Ogio carry bag, pair of shoes, dozen balls, and towels put the total near the airline weight limit so you can't use all the available space anyway. When shopping I found nothing comparable but I paid half price and my local stores had very poor selection of travel bags.

You might want to check out these cases.

I own the SKB Staff Case, and I love it.

Big fan of my SKB. Three trips so far and I can tell the case has not been treated well. Throw in a straight arm and wrap the heads to prevent rattling and presto! No worries!

Re: Looking for a new Travel Cover

I absolutely love my bag. Its a hard shell that you take the top off and can use it as your bag. I get compliments on it at every airport I have ever been. I was so afraid of getting a soft bag because I thought at any time a suitcase could fall on it and break something.

Re: Looking for a new Travel Cover

I saw the reviews for the clubglider, but I don't see myself dropping that much money on my crappy clubs, especially since I'm only going to be using it maybe once a year. That said, it does look like a great product.

Re: Looking for a new Travel Cover

I bought this Ogio Monster a couple of months ago. I absolutely love it. I travel a lot with it and haven't had a problem. Plus, can't beat the price on ebay. $110? Will last for years.
