I just bought some Softspikes Black Widow Tour Golf Spikes for the first time. I purchased them because they looked like they would not wear out quickly. Now that I have them, I am intrigued by the comfort settings and custom options. Has anyone used these before? What settings have you tried? How did you like them? Have you tried any of the custom options listed at the bottom of the Softspikes website? http://blackwidowtour.com/cms/index.php?s=comfort

How did the spikes work out for you? I was interested in getting a few pairs for christmas but have read some reviews claiming a short life-span. I figure the pros can use them because they'll just get a new set every round but I dont want to have to replace my spikes every two weeks. I already have to change them every 2-3 months as it is.

They've worked well. They are definitely lasting longer than the normal spikes. I was honestly hoping they'd be a wear a little slower than they do, but they're fine. I'm about 15-20 rounds in and they're still good enough. So an improvement. I would say 4 out of 5 stars.
