Hi, longtime lurker and finally took the plunge. I first played in 2001, but never took it seriously until 3 years ago. I have been able to get from 36 to 21.2 in these 3 years, and finally broke 90 for the first time a few weeks ago, and was able to do it again the next time.

Looking forward to posting and debating with all of you....

Thanks! There seems to be a good sized contingent from the Volunteer State. We'll have to have a group outing sometime, LOL!

Welcome to the forum! Speaking of debating, how do you think the Titans will do this season? The last two have been weird for them, to say the least.

Realistically, 8-8 is what I see. A few good breaks will make them 10-6; a few bad breaks will make them 6-10. Too many questions on the defensive side of the ball , plus Chris Johnson is not going to have another season like he did last year (despite his bold predictions.) Defensive coordinators have been working all of these months to take him out of the gameplan, and make Vince Young beat them with his arm. Vince is still a kind of unknown, and the Titans don't have any receivers or tight ends that put fear in the opponent.

I'm hoping for the best, and will be there at LP Field cheering them on. But I'm not blind to reality.

Thanks Don. I'm a big Titans fan and I think you've very succinctly stated the problem - defense. It's not implausible that Chris Johnson could have a season like last year but I'm not holding my breath. On the offensive side I think Vince has matured somewhat but I have to agree that they lack any real superstars at the tight end or wide receiver position although their draft picks could deliver in that department. After a near comeback against Seattle last night I'm not expecting much since they shouldn't have let themselves get that far behind in the third quarter.
