How important is for you to take Putter Fitting ?

There is a Putting Fitting service in my area costs about $100/session,

would you use this service?

Ah, thats a bit steep. Me personally I wouldnt do that. I think what would be more inportant would be what type of putter you have. ( i.e. straight back and through , or arc).

should only be about $25 to fit the lie, loft and length of your existing putter

assuming you have the right putter for your stroke, as mentioned above

Depends what the fitting actually involves. If it's just some body measurements and an eyeballing of your stroke, forget it. But if the fitter has something like a SAM Puttlab machine and can give you genuine insight into your technique and how your current putter suits it, then it could be money well spent.

You will be much more consistent if you get your putter fit to you, instead of conforming your technique to your putter.

Right now you are at a 14 handicap? I wouldn't spring for the "SAM Puttlab" or similar process at this point. In the future, yeah it can help alot, but right now just get the basic loft lie and length adjustments.

Also, most new putter purchases will include an indepth fitting.
