I currently play Ben Hogan Edge CFT Irons and am looking to upgrade.  The two sets of irons i have hit that have felt good are Mizuno MP-63's and Titleist ap2's.  I am currently an 11 handicap and play on a Donal Ross golf course every day. I have a medium ball flight and am not a super consistent stricker.  I don't know if these irons would be a good choice for my game.  I plan to work and improve.  Thanks

Mizuno bills the MP-63 as a "player's cavity" and suggests this model for golfers with +4 to 10 HDCP.

Latest AP2 has a "dual cavity" head design.

Suggest you go onto the webs for each company, and read the design talk. Also, make sure you get the proper shaft for your swing. Mizuno has the shaft optimizer which other golfers say narrows you down to a "short list" of possibles.

From your post, it looks like you want to "get it done" this next season. For the money you would pay for either, especially an AP2, you might consider a full fitting.

Good luck, and keep us posted.

Focus, connect and follow through!
