We decided to mix some things up.  If you are looking to have some fun and like a chance.... why not throw $25 our way?

I bought! Kinda curious to see whether I'm closer to "gold" or closer to "old". :-)

Haha, Give yourself a pat on the back.... it takes some golf balls to take a chance :)  You never know... $25 for a set of irons isn't a bad deal.... but then again some nudie tees wouldn't be that great lol.

Sorry... had to have some fun with it

Doesn't show up on mine either but since they sent me an e-mail inquiring about sizes/dexterity/shaft/etc., I figure they actually received the order.

Ya we just got slammed traffic wise and for some odd reason our system capped out on generating vouchers.  None the less if you received an email we have your order.  If you didn't shoot me an email matt@shotly.com and I'll see if I can help.

Yes Sir, that's part of the fun :) You should have gotten an email with additional details, if you didn't, let me know and I can send it over to you.

I hope everyone posts what they got here

So what is the purpose of the printable voucher?  Is it basically a receipt?

Also, from where are the "grab bags" shipping?  Curious how long it may take to arrive...feel like a crack addict!

Lol.  You are no crack addict, just looking for your next golf fix :)

Vouchers are there for items you redeem on other websites.  For example if you bought a tee time and the course required you redeem it online, you would enter your voucher on their website to get credit..... Kinda dumb... but its our system.

    • Day 2 - Played a few holes on the sim, but I feel like some of the numbers were off. Going to re-calibrate and mess around some more.
    • Day 254: did a stack session.
    • I think they were going for this type: Not the type you may be thinking of.
    • Thanks for both of your inputs. I fully agree that if a course has a non-smoking policy, everyone should just respect it. I'm also sure that my team-mate will do so, there is no doubt about that. I was just interested in the official requirements or steps for having this (or any other matter about personal conduct) applied.   Just FYI: We were told by a member about this policy, we haven't seen anything about this in writing so far. I only checked their homepage, but I will be at that club on Wednesday to play a round to get to know the course, then I can ask the reception or caddy master about it. Given that it doesn't affect me personally anyway (as I don't smoke) I will probably not bother to dig any deeper than that.
    • Rule 1.2b refers you to a section in the Committee Procedures (Section 5I) that helps explain what a Code of Conduct may (and may not) do.  Defining acceptable behavior (including smoking) and applying Stroke of DQ penalties are certainly within the Committee's authority. That Code of Conduct certainly should be available, either in written form or in a webpage accessible to all.  It may not show up on the "standard local rules" for an organization, the "hard card", as it sounds like its a policy of this particular golf course. Assuming that's the case it should show up on the Notice to Players for this particular event.  If you can't find it, ask someone, send an email, try to find out.   In summary, yes the Committee can DQ (or withdraw) a Player for smoking, even before or between rounds.  But its up to you to go from there, communication is the key here.
