One of the defining things about Granite Fields is how well it drains. If conditions have been extraordinarily wet to the point other courses are closed, cart path only, or walking only it is...
Course is always in good to very good condition when I have played there. Locals tell me it was a sod farm at one time ... or the owners operate a sod farm ... never quite got that sorted but...
This putter rolls puts off like butter. Very true, and easy to use, excellent sight lines on the putter. However, I absolutely found the grip to be a flaw. It stuck to everything, my clothes,...
After testing, I noticed to find cons, I had to nit pick. These wedges were great from all lies that it tackled. Floated the ball out of the bunkers excellently, and short chip shots were sure to...
CSH is a smallish and perhaps a bit quirky course just barely over the MA/NH border. Listed yardage from the back is 6250 yards and from the front 5750 yards. On paper should be a really...
Just started taking lessons, been around high 90's, low 100's on the course after getting back into it. Just took a lesson, instructor said I wasn't turning my shoulders nearly enough on my backswing or follow through. This is my revised swing so far...
I would start working on the backswing first. You need to feel more Rickie Fowler in the backswing and keep the head outside the hands instead of taking it so far to the inside and around. Also feeling that the shaft is more vertical going back with some wrist cock.
The first thing i would do is just an adjustment in your set up. If draw a line down your arms right now it would go diagonally and then straight down the clubshaft. You will want to get more angle there. Take your arms and dangle them straight down. That is how you want them to be in your setup. Your hands will be a little lower and the shaft will angle to the ball. You will noticed that instead of being straight, your wrists will have more of an angle.Try this out and get used to it.
Once you are used to that then post another video. Then it will be time to work on the takeaway.
Oh and try and get a face on video to go along with the down the line view...then we can get a better idea of what you're doing.\
I think I know what you mean, it seems i have the club shaft pointed up too high into my stomach almost. I will try some of those slight modifications and post a new video sometime soon.
anything on the new vids? I have to say i'm still very inconsistent with my irons and lately having trouble with pushing/fading my shots when i do not want to.
Hi guys, still hoping for some more feedback on the new revised swing posted above. While playing lately, I have to say I like the new swing much better, but feel like my new, natural tendency is to either push/slice at this point, not sure what's going on there? My driver seems to be the worst now. Before, I'd have a nice amount of draw giving me that extra distance, but now I seem to have a slight fade to a slice.

You have to work on your impact conditions. Use an impact bag to get these conditions.
My current handicap index or average score is: 90's
My typical ball flight is: average flight, strong draw
The shot I hate or the "miss" I'm trying to reduce/eliminate is: snap hook/overdraw and block
Videos:
Two separate driver swings above. My driver is typically my better club, usual shot is mid/high draw starting on the right side of the fairway ending on the left. I'm a decent distance player, on a solid drive with low wind/average conditions my "good" drive will go 265-280, slight block/push about 240-260, and a bomb around 300.
My usual miss is an over draw / pull or snap hook if it's really bad. Every once in awhile I'll have a block right (not a slice or fade) but that's pretty rare.
However, my backswing appears to abbreviated with my driver now as I have changed my swing immensely over the last year (not all for the better as my scores haven't dropped in a year now) and my shortened backswing is really apparent when I view these videos...
