Hi, i guess this thread is quite similar to my last thread but still a little different.

I want to know how you guys think/dont think and do/donts after a great front 9.

My last couple of rounds i have played the front nine so nicely. Hitting lots of greens and making birdies going out in +-1 of 36.

Usually the real trouble holes are 12-15 where i usually get around in +3-4. Does not matter which kind of holes it is its that stretch and i can usually finish quite strong.

Let me know how you tackle this!

I think mostly its in your head. i agree with you i feel like 12-15 are the toughest because its in the middle of the round your trying to maintain the streak you just came off of the front with and your not yet putting together your strong finish. To answer your question, I try to forget about the last few holes good or bad and just focus on scoring on w.e hole I'm on. Whether i have to play it conservatively and sneak away with par, Or attack and add a circle to the score card. Next time you go out forget about your score when you hit 12-15 and just worry about that hole shot by shot imagine you are back at even and nothing else matters.

Hope this helped Let me Know

i try to break mine up into 'sets' of 3 holes. shoot no more than 13 for those 3 holes. if i shoot less or more, oh well, i 'erase' it from memory and start the next 'set' on a blank slate. best way to do it is let someone else keep your score as well...always helps you focus on the hole at hand, not the previous 10 you've already played.
