left arm only

I got me some new irons this weekend at the pga store....ap1s but the pro there watched my swing for about a hour and wants me to hit balls with my left arm only.... i have been hitting alot of right to left shoots will this help that....

I think it's a legit drill.  Did he say you had an over active right hand?  Do you tend to jump at it from the top?

What was his reasoning behind it? left hand drills are fine if there is a reason why you are working on it. Watch out for tennis elbow problems and left rotor cuff injuries with this. Swing easy and dont hit too many balls with it

I jump at the ball and regrip at the top this where my hook comes from ive hit a road block in my game and the little ive used thos drill it seems like it teachs tempo lag how to pull and not push on the downswing and is showing me the right left wrist position at impact
