I line up the ball to the center of my left foot on every shot except chipping and putting. I have good solid contact, it helps me get behind the ball. Does anyone else do this? I was thinking I should stick to what works, but I have never heard and pro or teacher do what I do. Am I the only one who does this?????

my coach suggested i do this do stop my slices. its worked for me except sometimes ill catch a shot thin, as i tend to try to explode out of the swing with my hips, and that causes me to stand up a little. i recently moved the ball back a little bit more, as ive tweeked my swing to avoid slices.

I personally wouldn't teach that, but if it's working for you, stick with it!!

Ball potion is the same distance from my lead foot on all irons (about 4-5 inches inside foot not at foot.) I move teed woods forward. Feet get farther apart by moving back foot back.

This was what Moe Norman -- my model -- did.
