Hi,

I am 15 and I am looking for some new irons. I am a decent golfer. I am 6'2" and 165 lbs. I would like you guys to recomend me some irons for a) $0-500 b) $500-700 and c) $700 and up. I'm not sure what my price range will be yet but i need them to be the best for my money. Thanks in advance!

What's your definition of decent? How is your ball-striking? Are you looking for something that will help your accuracy? Distance? I would recommend figuring out your budget first, then hit as many different irons as possible to see what you like, and definitely get fitted by someone. Edwin Watts, Golfsmith, and Golf Galaxy are three places around my area that provide fitting services. I'm sure there are some around you as well.

Taylormade Burner Plus - put at least 200 rounds on mine in 2 years - they've held up well, they're much cheaper now, and I'd recommend them.   Be aware that due to your height, your irons will have to be lengthened - no big deal, any shop can do it easily, but it'll add about $100 to the purchase price for all new grips, extension piece and install.

Snakes Eyes 685 OS. They are a brand made for Golfsmith, often sold as separate components and then "built" by amatuer and professional club builders. Depending on your skill level and exact budget, Snake Eyes might be a good option.

Again, what exactly is your skill level?

Cleveland CG16 or CG16 Tour. Great all-around irons and right now... cheap....$399. But whatever you get, rely on YOU and not someone else. Hit many and narrow the selection down and get WHAT YOU HIT WELL not what someone else hits well.
