FJ Sport Spikeless Golf Shoes

Has anyone purchased Footjoy's new Sport Spikeless golf shoes, and if so, can you comment on their comfort and traction?

I don't have the Sport, but I do have the Contour Casual, they are by far my favorite shoe of all time.  I'm a huge fan of the spikeless shoe, I have 3 different brands of spikeless, I hope that spikeless isn't a trend, because I have no intention of wearing anything for golfing but spikeless from now on.

I like nike's spikeles shoes, very comfortable. To me the footjoys spikeless are a bit to wide for me, and just don't fit well.

This is the shoe I am asking about.

I have a pair of them and I love them. Super comfortable and light.   I can walk around casual with them or they have plenty of grip to golf in.

I also have the contour casuals which are great as well.  Now that i think of it I have a ton of FJ shoes.

For sure worth the purchase.

I tried the contour casuals a few times, and ended up going with the Ecco Streets.  Just more comfortable and natural feeling.  The FJ's felt like they had a soft, mushy pillow on top of a rock bed; the pillow wasn't much comfort after a few steps.

The trouble with the Ecco line of spineless shoes is that they don't offer wide widths which I need. They are based in Europe and still have that European mentality that Americans don't have wide feet. If they offered wide widths they could be making even more money, but stupidity reigns.

If you want spikeless and are looking for a "wider" shoe you really need to check out the ones made by TRUE linkswear. Awesome shoes, by far the most comfortable around. The new model (the sensei) is amazing, I've got two pairs of them and at $99, they are a great value. The phx model is also really good and is also $99. If you are looking for a more traditional look, the tour or stealth models might be more of what you are looking for and they run for $150 and $200 respectively. However, on rockbottomgolf.com you can get a really good deal on the tours (I think they are $69). TRUE doesn't make wide widths per say but they are built with a wider toe box to allow the foot to function naturally, and from feedback both on this site and other places, individuals with wide feet have had nothing but good things to say about them.

Tristan, thanks for the info, but tried on some True shoes. Toe box was wide enough, but the shoe did not seem to have enough lateral support for me.

I am thinking of buying the Footjoy Contour Casual (sell them at my local golf club) or Ecco Golf Street.
