Hey, just saw this group.  I mostly play at Whittle Springs/Municipal because of the price.  But I really enjoy Dead Horse, Three Ridges, and the Wee course as well.

 

Dead Horse is my favorite for the price..

I have played at Dead Horse several times over the past year but I also venture to a lot of other courses in the area.  WindRiver, formerly know as Rarity Pointe, has become a favorite.  The have done some renovation to the bunkering at Centennial that will surely be an improvement.  River Islands is another good one but is usually a little crowded.  You can generally find pretty good deals on GolfNow for each of them.  I haven't been to Three Ridges but I hear good things about it.  The Wee Course seems like an ideal spot to work on the iron game.  We are fortunate to have some really good options.

The Wee Courst is great for working on Iron play and putting.  They have some really nice greeens.  I am most likely going to get a membership there this year.

 

I haven't gotten to play a lot of the courses out there since I just really started getting into the game, but you are right, Knoxville and surrounding area has a lot of places to play good golf.
