I have a rocketballz 3 wood and i have a tendency to hook it, this is the only club in my back that I hook. I read somewhere that the stock rocketbladez 3 wood is really easy to hook, does anyone know why, is this the shaft? I think i have the stiff shaft.

The RBZ fairway-wood heads have a draw bias, and a very light shaft. In standard RBZ, stock shaft is only 45 grams. In RBZ Stage 2, the stock shaft is 60 grams.

I had the same problem you did - with me, every other shot was a screaming hook. In May, I traded in the RBZ on a Tour Edge Exotics XRail 4W and 7W. A squarer face, and a 60 gram shaft.

The RBZ Stage 2 FWs were OK - draw more than hook - but I got more distance and better feel out of the Callaway XHots. (I went with XRails for reliability; if I get to where I'm breaking 90 regularly, I might upgrade to standard Exotics or XHot line.)

I have a RBZ 4 Rescue and have the same hooking issue. No doubt, the ball just screams off the club so I've spent a long time trying to figure it out but I'm giving up. I can hit wonderful shots, but I just don't know what's going to happen each time I pull it. I now have an Adams 5 wood and a couple of Adams hybrids to cover the 190 - 225 range.

I wish I could help you, I can only empathize. Bought the thing because I always love the old R7 rescues and thought it would be similar. Wrong.

That sucks, I hit it pretty good in the store at least I thought, can't really tell in there. Anyone hit the cover amp cell woods? Or nike coverts? I have the amp cell irons and live them.
