Rocketballz 3 wood

I have a rocketballz 3 wood and i have a tendency to hook it, this is the only club in my back that I hook. I read somewhere that the stock rocketbladez 3 wood is really easy to hook, does anyone know why, is this the shaft? I think i have the stiff shaft.

The RBZ fairway-wood heads have a draw bias, and a very light shaft. In standard RBZ, stock shaft is only 45 grams. In RBZ Stage 2, the stock shaft is 60 grams.

I had the same problem you did - with me, every other shot was a screaming hook. In May, I traded in the RBZ on a Tour Edge Exotics XRail 4W and 7W. A squarer face, and a 60 gram shaft.

The RBZ Stage 2 FWs were OK - draw more than hook - but I got more distance and better feel out of the Callaway XHots. (I went with XRails for reliability; if I get to where I'm breaking 90 regularly, I might upgrade to standard Exotics or XHot line.)

I wonder if getting a weighted grip(the secret grip) would help with the hook, I have one in my driver now and I like it a lot.

I have a RBZ 4 Rescue and have the same hooking issue. No doubt, the ball just screams off the club so I've spent a long time trying to figure it out but I'm giving up. I can hit wonderful shots, but I just don't know what's going to happen each time I pull it. I now have an Adams 5 wood and a couple of Adams hybrids to cover the 190 - 225 range.

I wish I could help you, I can only empathize. Bought the thing because I always love the old R7 rescues and thought it would be similar. Wrong.

Yep the same thing for me, sometimes it will go straight but most the time it hooks really bad. Maybe I need to get fitted for it and re shaft it.

same for a low hook with them even put some lead tape under the grip at the top to counter it

ended up selling them and getting the xhots 3 wood and a ping i20 hybird best thing i did

check out the xhot and 2xhot

That sucks, I hit it pretty good in the store at least I thought, can't really tell in there. Anyone hit the cover amp cell woods? Or nike coverts? I have the amp cell irons and live them.
