My Swing (fairway20)

I've been Playing Golf for: 5 years

My current handicap index or average score is: 23

My typical ball flight is: straight/miss left

The shot I hate or the "miss" I'm trying to reduce/eliminate is: low hook of the tee or low flight drive.

If you could film a dtl and face on that would be better. Looks like the head is going too far forward on the downswing. Check this out.

IMO, for what its worth, you're definitely hitting a pull hook. Change your path by aligning feet shoulders etc a bout 10° more to the right and at least you'll find the fairway. Opening the clubface a little will help your ball flight.

It's a video of him swinging without a ball at a 45 degree angle, not much can really be determined with a video like that.

And if he was hitting a pull hook, aiming more right, meaning the path would rotated more to the right, could make things worse. You may be a little confused with the ball flight laws. Ball doesn't start in the direction of the path. The ball starts generally where the face is pointing, and curves away from the path.

Now the OP could be swinging left and having the face aimed even more left. Can't really tell for sure with the video. Or he could just be toe hooking a bunch of shots.

You can see that his shoulders and feet are definitely open.

That's why I suggested he open the clubface a little.
