I didn't realize until recently that I've been casting or releasing my club too early. I started doing this and it really seems to help. I'm wondering if anyone else has tried it. It could be super common for all I know. I don't look at the ball when I swing, I focus several inches in front of the ball, and really try to pretend that's where the ball is and hit that spot. If you have this problem, try this, if only for one swing. I'm curious if it would work or has worked for others.

Yeah, it's a pretty common fix. Bobby Clampett wrote a whole book on this. It's called The Impact Zone. It's based on a TGM concept. Some people swear by it, I used to use it but ultimately decided to focus on my actual mechanics. It does work well for some people.

Yours in earnest, Jason.
