I currently use ths srixon AD333 and have seen my handicap come down, currently of 11, but I dont seem to get the reaction I want on the greens that other players seem to get! Should I upgrade to a PRO V or something similar ?

What ball were you using previously? How far has your handicap dropped and in what timeframe since using the Srixon ball? Is it still dropping or have you leveled off at an 11? If it's still coming down then something is working for you - let it ride. Is green side spin action an obstacle to your improving further?

The Srixon AD333 is a two piece ball.  Middle of the road.

A better ball can help your game, just depends on what you want, where you think a different ball would help.

My ball flight tends to be high into greens with my short irons and I get little back spin and I get no check on bumb and run shots. However I do realise it could just be my technique

My suggestion would be to pick up a sleeve of balls you would like to try and compare them side by side, hole by hole.

Played correctly Bump and run shouldn't have any check. :-P

Also, some advocate when testing a new ball to start at the green and work your way back to the tee.

ie: test it on the green, how does it feel off the putter?

Chip and pitching:  fell good, get what you want or no not really.

You get my drift?

It's all feel, your feel, you have to decide.

Good luck
