The Longer the Shaft the Lefter the Shot

I know "the lefter the shot" is really poor English that would make my teacher wife shiver, but it makes the point. I'm getting my short irons (up to 7) going pretty straight, but as soon as I move up to my 6, 5, and 4 hybrids I start pulling them to the left. Does anyone have any thoughts on what might be causing this?  But them I slice my driver!

The loft on the club is the real culprit. Shaft length is a factor but it is a whole lot easier to hit a wedge head on a 3 iron length shaft than the other way around.  Loft = Forgiveness

May I first ask a question? Are you on the range or playing to holes and what do you think you might not be not doing with the lower clubs vs the higher ones that cause the pulls?

Ok, that's telling. You may wish to start with some related threads here and videos. I recently bought a copy of the book "Lowest Score Wins" and it addresses some key points for swing and ball striking drills, so far. Got more to read picking but up a lot of good info about my misses.
