Just downloaded trial version to try once I get back from Iraq sometime next week. Looks pretty impressive so far, just adding the course info and such. Will definitely be getting full version after I get my 5 rounds done!

It's not yet. And you'll need a license for the desktop app for it to work. I think we might charge $0.99 for it because Apple gives you better statistics if you charge.

Okay, I was planning on getting it for my computer anyways, but I'm glad I can use it on the course with my phone too.

That' even more perfect, because that's all I really want to do, pull out the phone, put in the score and put the phone away

Are you also working on letting us store our DB file in a specified location? I'd love to store my DB file on my NAS. This way I could easily access my data from any of my home computers or via my VPN w/out having to copy files back and forth.

As I said to you in the other thread: put it wherever you want. Make an alias. Alias the entire folder and move it somewhere else if you'd like. I keep my DB and license on my iDisk.

Hi All-

I checked out the Scorecard screen shots and FAQsf and also hit about half the pages on this thread but still could not tell if Scorecard tracks driving distance- I know its not as critical of a stat as others but it is a fun one-

Hi Dale, I have no idea if Erik is planning to add that functionality at any point in time, but currently it does not support that. At least I haven't found it yet and I've been using it for a while now :D

We have no plans and likely will not be convinced to add Driving Distance as a stat kept in Scorecard.

Erik, is there an way, or are there any plans, to make a round count towards your stats, but not handicap? In MA the off-season is from the day after Veteran's day to March 31, but you can play year round on the Cape. During the course of the off-season, I'll probably play around 10 rounds, and I would like to have the stats from these rounds counted, but at the same time want to be able to keep an accurate handicap (I use Scorecard to keep my handicap because I don't want to pay the $60 dollars to get one at a course since I really don't ever need an official one).

Also, is the next update with 9-hole rounds still planned for early 2009?

      Day 206 3-11 Focused on wider backswing and reconnecting arm in downswing. Wasn't really happy with how swing was looking today. Wider backswing is very different for me. Went back to do a some longer pauses at the top. Hit a few foam balls.

      This is an awesome breakdown. most of the bigger tournaments usually have one wave with the advantage, Thank you for the breakdown. If it is soft then it will be a lower final score

      Over the past 15 years, the winning score has ranged from -10 to -20. Mostly around -13.  Here is Thursday and Friday weather. Saturday and Sunday weather. I think the course will play soft. Plenty of sky cover, lots of rain on Thursday. Fairways and greens will probably stay soft throughout the week.  In terms of tee times, I think Thursday morning and Friday afternoon have the biggest advantage.       Things that I am or have worked on... 1.    Trail Elbow - Check 2.    Hip Turn - Check 3.    Rolled Inside - Check 4.    Wide Takeaway - Check 5.    Sway and Tilt - Nope, but I did a hip turn and tilt 🤣 I am giving myself 4.5/5 for my long backswing.  Great post!

      We have a very difficult but mostly showy course this week. Lets see what they got. This course offers so many chances to get into trouble it is really a mental minefield. I am excited to see who can handle it and who cant. Last year we got a foreshadowing of JJ and Rory, I am excited for this year Who do people have winning? what will the winning score be? I am thinking 12 or 13 under
