I had 26 putts once. I shot a 92. Figure out what happened between the tee and green.

29 putts and similar to @DrvFrShow above I played very poorly tee to green. I have had a few 30 putt rounds that were great scores though.

I had 21 putts once, which I recall specifically, but I don't remember the score, as it wasn't a great round i recall for me, prob mid/high 80's.  I think I chipped in twice and was constantly on the fringe all round.

When you hit terrible, the number of putts can go down if your chipping is really good.

That said, my absolutely best round had the least number of putts and the highest GIR ever. 😁
