Fewest Putts You've Had in a Round?

What's the lowest # of putts you've had in a round, and did you score well with it? 

I had 21 putts once, which I recall specifically, but I don't remember the score, as it wasn't a great round i recall for me, prob mid/high 80's.  I think I chipped in twice and was constantly on the fringe all round.

No idea.  Low 20’s?  But like you, I’m sure it wasn’t a particularly good round because it very likely meant that I didn’t hit many/any greens.

Same here. I think it was 24 or 25 but I still shot in the high 80s.

My best is 27.   I had 10 the front side and 17 on the back!

27 for me. I'm not a great putter or short game player, though, and I hit a decent amount of GIR, so I'm going to have more putts than most people at my handicap.

19 for me. But it was mostly one of those things where putts from the collar aren't really "putts". I holed out from just off the green 3 times in that round if i remember right. So i had three holes where i technically never putted.

Hard to remember. Low 20s for sure.  I once had 9 for 9 holes. I had 23 for 18 holes the other day. 

I have always been a better than average putter. 

On another note, I can't readily associate any really low rounds with those low putting numbers.

24 - 12 one putts (nothing over a couple of feet) and 6 two putts.  Hit only one GIR, which was the 18th hole of course, but literally was within 10 feet of the green on almost every hole.  Didn't break 80 (I think I shot 81) at a time when breaking it was still important to me due to 2 triples late in the round (one of which was a one putt triple).

26.  I was playing really well.  The fact that I hit a lot of GIR likely held me back from getting a very low number, which is fine with me.  It was my best score to par (-1) so far and my only negative differential.

I don't know for sure. Looking at my GameGolf rounds the least is 26 and I shot 71(-1). It was not a very good ball striking round, lots of missed greens, lots of getting up and down. I've shot in the 60s with more than 30 putts on many occasions. Number of putts is a poor determinant of my score thats for sure.

23 is the lowest I remember.  Low putt numbers usually equal low GIR days so they don’t usually equal low scores.  I’d take 15 GIRs and 30 putts any day over a 3 GIR 20 putt round!

Mine is 28 and I shot 91. Not a bad score but not a particularly good one, either. About my average score at the time. I hit 1 GIR, so wasn't hitting the ball well at all.

My lowest putt total was on an 18 hole par 3.  I managed to miss almost every green, chipped well, and one-putted most of the greens.  It was a decent score but it didn't feel that way.  On a full course the number is 26, 27, somewhere around there.  Again, I missed a lot of greens.  Since reading LSW...I no longer count "putts" that way.  I give myself nGIR's and think of anything I could have putted as a putt. Whether I use a putter or not.

Putting is my weakness.  Haven’t had a round this year under 30. I do hit greens at a nice clip, but for my game to get to scratch and slightly better putting is my key.

One of the best rounds I had in my teens, 24, but that was decades ago. I am currently averaging 35, and all things considered, it is good for now.

Mine was a round of 23 putts: 5 2-putts and 13 1-putts.  I think I hit only 1 green in regulation. Of course, a lot of the time, I was real close to green, so I could just chip on and 1-putt. The score was like 6 or 7 over (including a ball rinsed), as I recall.
