Maybe he thought that you needed to wait for him to finish, he got there first so it was his turn to use all the chipping facillity... don´t know, there´s a lot of crazy guys out there.

The stress in his life was probably attributable to his lousy chipping.  The large spread wasn't due to him changing targets I don't think.

It annoys me that in today's world we are supposed to overlook rudeness if there was no "intent."  Consideration for other people is on the everyone, and it's not society's job to politely and gently point out that you're being selfish.  This guy may have been in fact autistic.  Whatever he had sure didn't help him with his golf game like it may have w/Moe Norman.

It’s bit in hindsight , but you could have notified him that you were going to clean up a spot first. If he starts to go off the just go to the clubhouse and talk to the Pro.

I don’t think you did anything wrong. Its common that you can clean the green for use.

    • Went up to Erie for a lesson. I still need to work on how I shift my weight into my right leg and turn into the right leg. I extend it too much and externally rotate it too much. That all causes me to over rotate the hips and cause weight shift issues in the downswing. I need to feel like my right leg gains flex (it doesn’t), and my knee cap faces forward. The right hip sinks back and right. I need a need a ton more internal rotation. I still have some right elbow issues in the backswing. The path is better, but too much right elbow bend. I need to maintain width in the right elbow and let my right shoulder retract more, let’s say at A3, which helps keep that right arm extended.
    • Day 130 12-20 Today was just swinging what i had and go from there. Did focus on getting to lead side. Recorded swings for lesson  and hit real balls.
    • Day 1 - 2025-12-20 Starting a new streak, of at least 1. With rain dumping for the next week in the north bay area, I'll be a lot of outdoor net work and maybe some putting. About 10 minutes of 7 iron work, focused on the usuals: weight transfer, keeping hands behind me. I'll have more time in the coming days for video review and maybe some Hack Motion.
    • Day 40 (20 Dec 25) - got in a few reps with the 55° wedge - focused on low flighted spinners from about 10 yds in, then wrapped up the session with a few bump and runs chips with the 5i using a putting type stroke.
    • Day 26: did my drill in the driveway for a bit. Feeling pretty decent about the change.
