I was at the Northern Trust on Friday and did some covert camera operations. I just got a new camera so I was toying around with it all day, which in turn bled the battery, so my session was cut shorter than hoped. There were a TON of big names in the field. What I've got below showcases just a few. If you are interested in making wallpaper of any of these let me know. I got mondo sizes (2048x1536 and/or 3072x2304) saved without my little name-mark on there.

My friends have one and I was impressed with the lack of delay between pushing button and shutter time. Relatively instant response.

No, you are not allowed cameras on the course during regulation rounds. They are allowed during Practice rounds though. I did see one of the volunteer marshalls screwing with his camera though.

I've read where Goosen is your favorite player. Did you follow him during his round?

Also, how much different is watching these guys, in person, vs. TV?

Yeah, I was super excited to see Retief in person. I followed him for only a few holes, but I did give him some luck. He parred the 5 holes I watched.

What I noticed from watching in person as opposed to on TV, the main thing was how deliberate they are on each shot. They really take their time in plotting out what they want to do. More thime than you or I could take when playing some course hacing to worry about the groups behind and slowing up play.

I also notcied how calm they are, no real peaks or valleys in their mood. Just even keeled for the duration of their rounds. At least that's the way with the top players.

Lastly was their swing, or lack thereof. The ninth hole (pictured above) is uphill and stright into the wind. Guys were swinging at their drives like it was a smooth 8 iron.
