Executive Courses?

My favorite local courses are a 9 hole exec course and an 18 hole exec course. But primarily because I can play a round in a reasonable time frame. 

Vista Valencia. Last year they did something different. They turned the sprinklers on, and made everything better. In the winter, the grass doesn't grow, just like my front lawn.

Huh, I don't think I have played those.  I will have to give them a try if I find my way to Brea.

Birch Hills in Brea (not really that close to Newport, but in Orange County, nonetheless) is a good one. New clubhouse, and the course is in decent shape. Aprox 3,000 yards. 18 Holes, Par 59.
