I was fit for clubs this past weekend. The fitter has a huge upcharge for their club building, but I noticed there are a tone of websites (TGW,  Golf USA, Golfio, etc) who build custom sets. Does anyone have any advice as to who is reputable and quick? I'll be traveling starting June 27th and want to have them by then if possible.

None of those are building the sets. They are just ordering them based off your specs from Mizuno. Mizuno will be building them. Don't see anything there in the specs that would require special custom builds unless I am missing something.

How do I order directly from Mizuno? Surely not their website as that had very limited options.

Would start with calling or chatting through their site, although they have the worst website I've ever seen. If that causes issues, you can use those other sites who will just put in the order and Mizuno will build and drop ship directly to you.

Thanks, man! Much appreciated!

    • Day 2 (20 Jan 26) - Similar work as yesterday - started with lead hand solo drills with the 50°, followed by series of pitches and chips utilizing full setup.
    • Hey, thanks for the feedback. I do lift weights but I’m also adding yoga or Pilates for mobility and flexibility to my routine.
    • Day 18: 2026.01.20 Continuing work on arm raise during backswing. Starting to feel less weird, especially the slower I go. Looking like a busy week so might be the weekend before I can hit some balls.
    • It’s possible the graphite shaft has a small internal crack or a delamination. Tapping it and hearing a vibrating sound is usually a sign the shaft isn’t behaving as it should. Since the store wasn’t helpful, consider taking it to a club fitter or a pro shop that can check the shaft flex and integrity. If it’s defective, you might be able to get a replacement from the manufacturer.
    • It’s interesting how much a 3D system changes your understanding. Observing top players in full detail and realizing the trail knee shouldn’t fully extend is a great example of why being open to new info is so important. I like your approach: not trying to be “right,” but trying to teach correctly based on actual evidence. Makes sense why golfers would benefit from this perspective.
