I was wondering what degree of a hybrid club I should get to replace a 3 and 4 iron in my bag. The club is going to be a Cobra Baffler Pro with the options of - 16*, 18*, 20*, and 23*.

I would suggest picking up the 23 and, depending on the loft of our 3-wood; either the 18 or 20.

personally, as i have a 15 degree 3 wood. i would pick up the 18 and the 20.

20* & 23* should be about right... but it is distance that is important. But usually a 3i will be around 20-22* and a 4i will be 23-25*... and you may hit the hybrids of same loft just a bit further... so 20* and 23* would be the strongest lofts I would consider to replace the irons.

The 4-iron - iron 4-iron not hybrid 4-iron - that came with my set is 23 degrees. I have a 23 degree hybrid to replace it and a 20-degree for the 3-iron. Then I have my 19 degree 5-Wood, but it has a longer shaft (which may explain a bit more distance).

I think usually you would get a 20 degree to replace the 3 iron and a 23 degree to replace your 4 iron.
