Maxfli Revolution 90 Multilayer Ball?

Found a sleeve of these today at a local consignment shop.  What’s the scoop?  It seems they were a love/hate ball from what I’ve read up on them.  The sleeve info says it’s a solid center wound multilayered ball with a urethane cover.  These were a promo sleeve handed out by EQUITABLE insurance.

I played them for awhile...  I think in the early ‘90’s.  I liked them.  As I remember, quite spinny and soft feeling with better distance than the balatas that I had played for so long prior.

I have my favorite ball I play, but I also believe, that in the end, quite a few amateur golfers dont really have the swing speed, or consistent swing to realize the positive effects of one model, brand of ball over another.

Guess I will put them up on a shelf to look at or maybe add them to the bucket of old wound balls that a friend gave me.  They were his father-in-law's and when they sold the house, he gifted them to me.  Of course I could just make "lady bugs" of them and place in the garden for the grands to find...
