Funny to me... I can do this with with a table tennis paddle (I know it's larger) all day long with my eyes closed using both sides.   I've not been too successful with a wedge.

open it up and hold it a bit shorter. And if it’s a 60 it’s easier. I can do it all day long but I can’t bounce it and then hit a full swing while it comes down.
