Titleist AP2 pre-order

I see that most places are accepting pre-orders for AP2 irons sets. Does anyone know if there are any places accepting custom orders at this time? I read on golfwrx that some people were fitted by their pros and ordered custom sets, but are there any places you can order them online?

havent seen anywhere online....but i was talking to a pga superstore rep yesterday and he said that many people, including pros, are going to get fit for a mixed set between the ap1s and ap2s. for example going with the ap2s for short irons and ap1s for 3,4,5 because they will be much easier to hit. it intrigued me and thats what i plan on doing later this month

At a golf school, I got told that my fitter was going to do the same thing, and recommended I do the same. I am going to wait until I get my handicap down before I go buy a set of them, but man they are nice.

I've got nothing about online either, but, have an order placed for a member at my club for a custom set. Shipping at the end of next week.

These are great clubs from what I have heard but man are they pricey. I may have to stick to my 962's for the time being. Nothing can seem to knock them out of my bag.

I just received the Golfsmith Catalogue and they are taking pre-orders. I'm sure you can either go online or call their 800 number to customize the irons. Currently, they are offering the AP1 and AP2 with two different steel shafts: Project X and True Temper. Both ship out on March 26th.

Rep came in the golf store I visit and I got to hit the forged 4 iron and 5 iron. I really liked them.

For those interested, Golfsmith is now letting you custom order, with a ship date of March 31.

yeah, I would've gone with them, but they are not expecting to take custom orders until April for any of the new Titleists.
