Hi!

I am a very fresh golfer who played a bit last year, and now I really want to get started again.

As other people in my family has been playing, I do have a shooting tent and I recently bought a chipping net that I can use in my back yard.

The thing is, it does not feel quite right to just tee up and swing it to the tent 100 times in a row - I feel like I need some drills to make my game better.

I am having most trouble with my driver and 4-6 irons when I am playing at my club, but I am not sure how I can improve my game from home?

Do you guys have any drills you do at home into a tent or similar, that has been helpful for you?

Thank you,

Truth be told you should ideally got professional coaching first and then practice that.  Because, if you keep practicing but have flaws, you will just ingrain them into your swing.

Try a post a video here and many knowledgeable people can guide you.  Without that it is very difficult to guide you

Ah ok. But shouldn’t there be more “general” drills that people do that can help me improve, or is it all individual?

Thank you,

Start with these and learn to film yourself when you practice.

There are general drills to help you improve.  However, it still depends on your swing.  If you use one that sort of overhauls your swing, it is difficult to get right.

Ideally start from the basics and work upwards to building a proper swing.
