Looks like a smooth swing. A caddy view might reveal more since the you want to bottom our your club consistently to avoid thin/fat shots.

Back up and let yourself swing more “around” you and not so much straight up and back down.

I’ll go on the range and try that! Thanks for the feedback, I’ll post one more video when I do and see if anything improved

    • And that can be my point. You’ve passed or skipped that stage. As a beginner it might be important
    • Just to be clear - it was the ball hanging over the lip that caused the timer to start? Instead of standing around and watching, could he have marked his ball and lifted it before it fell in, without penalty? Then replaced it and made the tap in? Or does having it over the lip preclude the marking and lifting? If the ball had not been hanging over the lip and, while he was walking to mark it, a gust of wind or earth tremor had rolled the ball in I'm guessing no penalty, just remove the ball and replace it? Then mark or putt it? And then, lastly and a bit off topic - does the mark need to be directly behind the ball? Can it be marked an inch or two behind the ball as long as the ball is returned to the mark?
    • I love the seat belt analogy.  I still won't dine or drink indoors unless I'm sitting next to a window or an open front door. I'm an outdoor patio kind of guy.
    • It's possible to video golf swings on a range or, even, on the course! 🙂
    • Are Outdoor Mask Mandates Still Necessary? - The Atlantic Governments need to give Americans an off-ramp to the post-pandemic world. Ending outdoor mask requirements would be a good place to start.
